The Center for Ethics and Leadership invites students, faculty, staff and alumni to hear Randy Langford, JD, an Austin criminal defense attorney, speak about restorative justice.
An examination of the philosophical, historical, and practical basis for retributive justice and restorative justice. The presentation will explore the history of two primary justice models and delve into the life and social philosophy undergirding each. The presentation will also include examples of the practical application of each justice model and a mock example of the processes used in restorative justice in which students will participate.
