Christy Phan – Organ Selling and its Positive Impact
Nhung (Christy) Phan is a sophomore undergraduate student who is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Biology at St. Edward’s University. She is actively participating in academic organizations on campus such as the Academy of Science and the Pre-Dental Club. She is currently conducting undergraduate research within the Bioinformatics department through an algal genome project. Nhung will be continuing her research career through participating in the Excellence in Cardiovascular Sciences Research Program at Wake Forest School of Medicine this summer.

Emily Caudill - Sustainable Architecture: Building Blocks of the Future
Emily Caudill has lived in Austin, Texas for the majority of her life. She is majoring in Chemistry and is truly passionate about the subject matter. Aside from taking classes, she enjoys staying active, traveling when possible, and frequenting art museums and music shows. She will be leaving this beautiful city and wonderful university when she graduates in one short month. She will be taking a job where she can apply her excitement for chemistry and then will likely be headed toward graduate school.

3. Cheryl Cedillo – Education Reform
Cheryl Cedillo: is a philosophy major who has been working with children for 5 years. Her other areas of study include Religious studies photography, music and writing. She is currently a freshman.
